That is why many Muslims opt to download Al Quran in different formats such as audio, text, translation, or commentary. This way, they can listen to or read the Quran anytime and anywhere they want.
One of the most popular formats that Muslims download is Al Quran 30 Juz. This is a division of the Quran into 30 equal parts, each called a juz (or para in some regions). What is Al Quran 30 Juz and why is it important?
The meaning and division of Al Quran 30 Juz
The word juz means "part" or "portion" in Arabic. It is used to refer to one of the thirty parts of the Quran that are roughly equal in length. Each juz has a name that is derived from the first word or verse of its first chapter. For example, the first juz is called "Alif-Lam-Mim" because it starts with Surah Al-Baqarah verse 1 that begins with these letters.
The division of the Quran into juz is not based on any thematic or logical criteria, but rather on convenience and ease of memorization. The division was done by the early Muslims who wanted to facilitate the recitation of the Quran in a month, especially during Ramadan when it is obligatory to perform taraweeh prayers at night.
The following table shows the list of juz along with their names, starting chapters, and ending chapters:

Then he will be given dominion in his right hand and eternity in his left hand and a crown of dignity will be placed upon his head.
